The Divorce Center, Inc. is a non-profit organization which has been easing the trauma
of divorce since 1983. We are comprised of divorce attorneys, mediators,
therapists, and financial experts who volunteer our time to work with and give support
to divorcing people. We have always believed that families experiencing divorce need
to be well informed and supported through the process.
Our public education programs focus on the legal, psychological, financial, tax and mediation aspects of separation and divorce. Our mission is to
make divorce more civilized and less traumatic, especially for the children. We
accomplish our goals by:
- Educating individuals and the community at large about divorce and its effects.
- Assisting professionals from various disciplines to improve service to their clients
therefore making divorce more civil and less traumatic.
Our goal is to bring our expertise and compassion to those who need us---individuals and
families---children, churches, parent organizations, non-profit groups and others who can
benefit from our programs and support groups.
